Job Description:

Production Blending Executive Accountable for safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all blending and tank-farm operations.

The role ensures accurate formulation, quality conformance, asset integrity, and timely supply of finished lubricants to FG holding tanks, while driving continuous process improvement in safety, quality, cost, and operational reliability.

• Ensure safe and complaint operation of blending, tank-farm, and product transfer systems in accordance with BP HSSE standards and Occupational Safety & Health Act.
• Implement automatic and manual blending operations in accordance with approved formulations, SOPs, OMS, and batch management systems.
• Handle raw materials (base oils and additives) including receive, storage, sampling, and release, ensuring accurate handling and batch traceability
• Implement in-process QC controls, including sampling, lab coordination, and batch release.
• Handle FG holding tanks, ensuring batch segregation, recirculation, contamination prevention, and traceability.
• Ensure blending activities support monthly filling schedules, B-FTPR, PSA, and operational targets.
• Supervise operators and contract workforce, ensuring compliance with procedures and capability to blending and tank-farm operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with COW, CMS, and Integrity Management (IM) for all blending-related activities.
• Control blending-related production costs within approved budgets; participate in cost-reduction initiatives.
• Act as BP Job Representative for blending-related contracts and Risk Owner for assigned blending and tank-farm risk events.
• Support crisis management and business continuity response as required.
• Lead Kaizen initiatives to improve blending accuracy, cycle time, yield, safety, and operator proficiency.
• Support digitalization initiatives such as MES or equivalent experience, batch automation, and traceability improvements.
• Improve standard work, error-proofing, and human-factor reliability in blending operations.
• Ensure environmental compliance, including oil loss prevention, API separator performance, and waste minimization.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemical engineer or related principles
• Languages: English - Proficient

Experience

• Working experience in manufacturing, production and planning control.
• Understanding of efficiency, cost control, and basic profit & loss.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis for operational decision-making.

Skills & Proficiencies

• Good communication skills including self-confidence and resilience.
• Strong knowledge of lubricants blending processes
• Understanding of tank-farm operations & contamination control
• Basic knowledge of formulations, and components
• Leadership, safety attitude, and structured problem-solving skills
