Job Title: Batching Plant Supervisor

Location: Afungi site (camp)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Production & Operations: Oversee the entire concrete batching process, from raw material loading to final dispatch.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule plant operators and maintenance staff.
• Quality Control: Ensure all produced concrete meets required mix designs, strength, and consistency specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks and coordinate preventive maintenance on mixers, belts, and silos.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of raw materials, cement, and admixtures to ensure continuous operation.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, daily logs, and inventory reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in concrete batching plant operation, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of concrete mix designs, batching computer systems, and machinery troubleshooting.
• Leadership: Strong communication, decision-making, and personnel management skills.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in an industrial environment, lift heavy objects, and work in varied weather conditions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
