• Review shop order packets and follow procedural instructions with precision
• Perform and assist with machine setups to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain tight tolerances (±0.001) when checking dimensions of parts
• Operate various inspection gauges to ensure quality control
• Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes
• Adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
• Demonstrate leadership and ethical behavior in alignment with company values

Skills Required

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting work orders and engineered drawings
• Ability to make precise machine setups
• Good working knowledge of measuring tools including calipers and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
• Problem-solving skills for standardized situations
• Commitment to safety and environmental protection

Qualifications Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator II
• Certification to safely operate material handling equipment
