SLB is looking for a motivated, curious, and hands-on student or recent graduate to join our Edmonton Manufacturing & Production Facility as a summer intern. This role is ideal for individuals studying in fields such as business, engineering, technology, or related areas who are eager to learn how a world-class manufacturing environment operates. You will be immersed in a dynamic facility where equipment, processes, and technology come together to support SLB's operations. Interns in this program are assigned a project tailored to their interests, strengths, and development goals. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Supporting day-to-day activities within the manufacturing & production facility.
  • Participating in shop tasks such as inspections, basic equipment checks, process observations, or data collection.
  • Assisting teams with continuous improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, or documentation updates.
  • Develop a project assigned at the beginning of the internship, tailored to the intern's background and interests.
  • Collaborating with engineers, supervisors, planners, and operations staff to understand real-world facility operations.
  • Gaining hands-on training and mentorship from experienced team members across different functions.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Currently enrolled or graduated within the past year in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in working in a manufacturing and production environment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to follow instructions while working safely in a shop-floor setting.
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
