Company Description

The Production CCR Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all panel operator activities within the Central Control Room of an LNG production facility. The role ensures safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations, aligning field and control room actions while optimizing production performance to meet LNG output targets.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. During Engineering Phase

• Review engineering documentation to ensure alignment with company expectations.
• Develop and write production procedures.
• Contribute to defining start-up sequences, including flare emission reduction strategies.
• Participate in HAZOPs, engineering reviews, DCS FATs, and alarm-reduction initiatives.
• Develop and implement production processes (PTW, inhibitions, SIMOPS, logs, safety tours).
• Define production tools and implement digital solutions such as Digital Twin and PI systems.
• Recruit and train production personnel, including national workforce development.

2. During Operations Phase

• Ensure personnel safety, environmental protection, and equipment integrity.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in CCR and associated facilities.
• Participate in incident analyses, HAZOPs, risk assessments, technical reviews, and audits.
• Record and track downgraded situations and manage equipment inhibitions securely.
• Oversee strict PTW follow-up to ensure accurate communication between field and CCR.
• Execute responsibilities under the Emergency Response Plan.
• Monitor and control plant production parameters to ensure operational continuity.
• Support panel operators during start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting, and emergency operations.
• Provide coverage for all production areas (Trains, Utilities, Storage & Loading, Subsea).
• Maintain the HSE dossier and ensure valve stroke tests (SDV/ESDV/BDV) are properly documented.
• Investigate plant upsets and trips through alarm/event log analysis, functional reviews, and SLD evaluation.
• Contribute to alarm reduction working groups.
• Log main events and ensure effective shift handover.

3. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop the CCR production team to ensure optimal performance.
• Train future panel operators on DCS usage and ICSS architecture.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set annual objectives, and perform end-of-year appraisals.
• Promote continuous improvement and skills development within the CCR team.

HSE Responsibilities

• Adhere to all HSE policies, compliance rules, and procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe work practices.
• Attend mandatory HSE training and enforce contractor/team compliance.
• Contribute to continuous HSE improvement and align with ISO 14001 expectations.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of DCS panel operations.
• Strong understanding of safety shutdown systems (ESD1/ESD2, EDP1/EDP2, safety bar).
• Deep expertise in oil & gas / LNG production processes, natural gas treatment, storage & loading, and utilities.
• Strong troubleshooting ability for process upsets and operational deviations.
• Very good knowledge of PTW systems, emergency response practices, and HSE frameworks.
• Proficiency in standard office software.
• High level of English proficiency (spoken and written).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of production experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical facilities.
• Minimum 10 years in senior production roles.
• At least 7 years of experience in LNG production plants and as a panel operator (not LNG terminals).
• Proven leadership capability.
