JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with sanding, grinding, and welding support activities
• Set up and operate grinder/sander equipment per specifications
• Perform basic measurements and quality checks on parts
• Maintain safe, efficient production flow and support team operations
• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and supervisor instructions
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Job Duties:

• Operate grinding and sanding equipment to prepare and finish parts
• Support weldline operations to ensure production goals are met
• Inspect parts using measuring tools for accuracy and quality standards
• Lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs
• Stand and work for extended periods (up to 12 hours) in varying conditions
• Work flexible schedules, including overtime or shift work as required

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Familiarity with measuring devices for diameter checks preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to changing production needs and schedules
