Your role and responsibilities
As the IND Production Unit Manager, you will lead daily operations in your production area and ensure stable execution across output, quality, OTD, productivity, and safety. You will work closely with planning, quality, HSE, and process development teams to maintain high production standards and continuously improve performance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead daily production execution to achieve volume, quality, and on‑time delivery targets.
- Act as a visible, hands‑on leader, spending significant time on the shop floor to identify issues early and drive fast problem resolution.
- Plan and allocate resources, proactively addressing capacity and staffing needs.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency, output, and OEE.
- Maintain strong safety, 6S, and quality standards across the production area.
- Lead, coach, and develop shift leaders and production teams; support training and multi‑skilling.
- Ensure effective Tier‑based daily management routines and data‑driven decision making.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, production, manufacturing or a related field. (Relevant hands‑on production leadership experience may substitute education.)
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations leadership.
- Proven track record leading shop‑floor teams in an industrial environment.
- Experience with production efficiency, productivity, capacity planning, and quality metrics.
- Background in industrial manufacturing (metal, wood, textile, food, electronics, etc.) is suitable.
- Strong understanding of safety, 6S, and continuous improvement practices.
