Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for our Large Motors & Generators factory in Jüri, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.
The work model for the role is: Onsite #LIonsite
This role is contributing to the Large Motors & Generators in Jüri, Estonia. Main stakeholders are manufacturing teams, process engineers, and customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Systematically handling quality issues to maintain high ABB product standards and prevent disruptions to manufacturing schedules
- Ensuring effective use of control plans and PFMEAs to minimize risks in production and new product processes
- Managing qualification processes to reduce risks and costs in new product introductions or improvement projects
- Conducting audits of manufacturing processes and developing improvement plans based on findings

Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in quality assurance and quality control processes and tools (PFMEAs, control plans, audit methodologies)
- You have established experience in production quality management, preferably in a metalworking or manufacturing environment
- You possess a degree in engineering or equivalent higher education qualification
- You are passionate about problem-solving and continuous improvement with a "will-do" attitude and collaborative mindset
- You are at ease communicating in English and Estonian
- You have the ability to assess quality control efficiency and establish appropriate inspection plans
