CCL Global is supporting a leading operator within the downstream energy sector in the recruitment of experienced Process Engineers for multiple refinery-based opportunities across Saudi Arabia.

 

We are seeking specialists with extensive refinery operations and process optimization experience across a range of key process units and performance functions. These positions will support large-scale refining operations through technical advisory, operational excellence, benchmarking and performance improvement initiatives.

• Sulfur Recovery (SRU / SWS) Process Engineers
• Solomon Benchmarking Specialists
• Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) Process Engineers
• Delayed Coker / Visbreaker Specialists

 

Location: Dharan, Saudi Arabia.

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract

 

Key duties will include:

 

Successful candidates will support refinery operations through:

 

• Process optimization and operational performance improvement
• Benchmarking and KPI analysis
• Technical troubleshooting and operational support
• Start-up, shutdown and commissioning activities
• Debottlenecking and revamp support
• Reliability and process safety improvement initiatives
• Development of engineering standards and best practices
• Cross-functional coordination with operations, maintenance and engineering teams
• Technical reporting and stakeholder engagement

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of refinery or petrochemical industry experience
• Extensive hands-on operational and process engineering experience within the relevant specialty area
• Strong refinery troubleshooting and optimization capability
• Experience supporting large-scale refinery operations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with benchmarking, performance analysis and refinery KPIs preferred
• Previous Middle East or international refinery experience advantageous
