Short description

We are seeking a dedicated TBM Operator to cover the weekend shifts for a big TBM operation. You will also assist during the week with various project tasks to support the project success.

Function description

• Operate the TBM safely and efficiently during weekend shifts, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Monitor and control TBM operations, including adjusting machine settings as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting on the TBM to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with additional project tasks during the week, such as material handling, site preparation, or equipment maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs of TBM operations and report any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating a TBM machine in a tunnelling environment
• Fluent in English and/or Spanish
• Strong understanding of tunnelling operations and safety practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and additional weekdays
• Ability to perform other onsite tunnelling tasks, including mechanical work and assisting team members as needed
