JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on components.
  • Perform source inspections at facilities.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
  • Review inspection records received for compliance.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) for nonconforming parts.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all ARM Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Operate inspection machines and read the results of the tests.
  • Interpret the results of tests according to the appropriate procedure.
  • Maintain daily logbooks.
  • Write testing procedures when applicable.
  • Verify certifications from vendors.
  • Comply with all departmental rules.
  • Maintain measurement and test equipment as required.
  • Utilize a wide variety of measurement and test equipment.


Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with team members. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, procedures and improve quality management system.


Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma or technical qualification or equivalent from a recognized institute.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar field.
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, material specifications and requirements.
  • Ability to pass dimensional inspection training and testing.


The following are a plus:

  • ASNT SNT-TC-1A NDT Level II for PT, MT and UT.
  • NACE or BGas Certified Coating Inspector level II.
  • AWS CWI /CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector
  • Experience in performing Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing.
  • Knowledge of API 4F, 8C, 6A, 16C, and 16A requirements.


Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn different software programs.
  • Willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required.
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
