Job Title: Compression Project Specialist
Role Summary: The Compression Project Specialist supports the Project Management Team (PMT) in managing cost compensation and adjustment mechanisms for high-value material procurement. The role involves material expediting, manufacturing tracking, logistics, and documentation, ensuring seamless procurement and delivery aligned with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Compensation and Adjustment Management:

Oversee the cost compensation and adjustment mechanism for critical materials, including bunker fuels (MGO and LSMGO) and other specified materials, as per contract requirements.

Collaborate with contractors to establish transparent mechanisms for monitoring, documenting, and reporting on cost adjustments.

Provide periodic implementation reports and insights for senior management and stakeholder meetings.

Maintain detailed records of mechanism implementation to support milestone validation and invoice settlements.

Material Expediting and Manufacturing Tracking:

Participate in procurement activities with inputs from PMT functions to achieve procurement goals.

Attend kickoff meetings with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to address and resolve procurement challenges.

Monitor contractor compliance with approved procurement procedures, ensuring alignment with contract requirements.

Review and endorse procurement deliverables, addressing any gaps to maintain project schedule integrity.

Procurement Coordination:

Evaluate potential change orders and claims related to procurement requirements.

Review procurement status reports to identify inconsistencies, escalating issues to PMT as needed.

Support documentation and resolution of material issues, ensuring timely handover and disposal of surplus materials.

Reporting and Documentation:

Contribute to comprehensive closeout reports, including material disposal summaries.

Expedite required documentation for contractor handover or receipt of materials.

Maintain accurate records and status updates for material handling.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Participate in relevant meetings as directed by management, contributing to project progress.
