Goals and deliverables
ACTIVITIES
The quantity surveyor will be responsible for (not exhaustive list):
- Coordinate all the quantity survey of the submitted by contractors dossiers.
- Carefully estimating/verifying/anticipating quantities and therefore contribute to control of associated costs but also material needs.
- Consult with stakeholders to understand the requirements, Contract elements, execution schemes,... etc
- Contribute to manage risk, value engineering and cost control measures
- Oversee and value subcontractors' work for payments
- Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Continually assess value
- Advise on change requests, remesurable dossiers, claims, counterclaims, disputes and any contractual issues
- Contribute to Lessons Learnt consolidation.
