Quantity Surveyor | Reading | Contract | Outside IR53 

ENG Bauen are continuing to work closely with our clients across the UK and Europe, supporting major projects and critical work packages across the industry.

We are seeing a lot of movement from a resource point of view across multiple jurisdictions with clients and we are now supporting a global EPC organisation who have been awarded a large package on an Brownfield project based in Reading. 

Reporting to the commercial manager you will be responsible for highly complex and regulated mechanical engineering package using NEC (3&4) forms of contract.

In support of this project, we are looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors or Cost Engineers to join the project team on a long-term contract to help see this project through to handover and liaise with the client representatives to ensure the successful and timely delivery of the project.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a background in the Energy sector and on-site experience of high-value multi-million construction projects.

The Assignment:
•    EPC Side
•    Brownfield
•    Long-term Contract

The Ideal Candidate will have/be:
•    An experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor
•    Previous experience with largescale Capex projects
•    Strong knowledge of NEC contract form
•    A good background in the Energy Sector (oil & gas, petrochemical, nuclear)
•    An adaptive and organised approach to their duties.
