Following the success of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C will deliver clean, reliable energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. This groundbreaking nuclear new-build project is key to achieving the UK’s Net Zero goals by 2050.
What You’ll Do
As a Risk Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks across the programme. Reporting to the Risk Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining Programme Risk Registers.
- Leading risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Conducting Qualitative & Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) using Monte Carlo tools.
- Facilitating risk workshops with large project teams.
- Producing detailed risk reports to inform decision-making.
- Providing risk management training to improve competency across the programme.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 10+ years of demonstrable Risk Management experience on major projects/programmes.
- Proficiency in Monte Carlo analysis and developing QSRA models.
- Experience with Enterprise Risk Management applications.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of P6, Microsoft Project, or similar planning tools (desirable).
- Membership in a relevant professional organization (APM, PMI, IRM, etc.) is a plus.
