What You’ll Do
As a Senior Risk Manager, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of the project’s Risk Management Strategy.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of Programme Risk Registers, ensuring alignment across all project areas.
- Conduct advanced Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), providing insights to senior leadership.
- Facilitate high-level risk workshops with Programme Directors and stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
- Deliver strategic risk reports and recommendations to inform critical decision-making.
- Mentor and guide junior risk professionals, embedding a robust risk management culture across the programme.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Extensive Risk Management Experience: 12+ years of experience in risk management on large-scale, complex projects, ideally within the infrastructure, energy, or nuclear sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Monte Carlo analysis, QSRA models, and Enterprise Risk Management tools.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead risk functions and engage with senior stakeholders, influencing strategic project decisions.
- Project Planning Knowledge: Familiarity with tools like P6 or Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Professional Accreditation: Membership in a relevant organization (APM, PMI, IRM) is desirable.
