Job Title: MEH Construction Planner
Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Day Rate: £350 - £500 Inside IR35
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2-3 days on-site/office, rest from home
Eligibility: UK Passport or Right to Work in the UK

About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced MEH Construction Planner to join the delivery team at Hinkley Point C (HPC), the UK’s largest infrastructure project. You’ll play a key role in planning and coordinating the installation of Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC systems, ensuring this £26 billion project stays on track to power millions of homes with clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for the MEH phase.
• Conduct integrated schedule reviews to optimize delivery sequences.
• Collaborate with construction, logistics, and planning teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, integrating conventional and nuclear safety requirements into planning processes.
• Support the optimization of project performance through advanced scheduling tools like 4D planning.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in planning and delivering complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts (desirable).
• Industrial experience in MEH delivery or nuclear construction is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent (preferred).
