Your role and responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities: • Consultancy services to BUs in terms of different solutions for movements of material from origins to destinations • Support BUs with budgetary cost during tender/quotation phase • Study the new trade lanes and select optimum routes for required service • Collect spot quotations for new lanes and select best match considering cost and service level • Receive orders from BUs and validate if covered in GFA or needs spot quotation • Follow ABB GFA and nominations for Logistics Service Providers • Create freight service purchase order on SAP • Issue AWB/TWB/BL and share with BU for confirmation before final release for original • Manage and follow up with export customs broker • Send loading notifications and truck drivers' delegations to ABB loading location • Issue COO "Certificate of Origin) as per agreed form for each country of destination • Collect form 13 from the customs authority for Tax refund/deduction after export is completed • Optimize flows of goods where applicable through consolidations and groupage • Managing dangerous goods and IMO cargo with respect to global and local regulations and guidelines where needed • Manage Reverse Logistics flows where applicable (returns) • Arrange for loading/unloading at origins/destinations where required • Arrange for special process i.e. x-ray, K9 and other process when required • Special service where needed (Charter, fast track, Flash etc.) • Keep all system tools fully updated timely to allow Track & Trace functionality in the system • Maintain functional/operational KPIs at optimum level based on live-data • Regular business review meetings with BU teams (weekly/monthly basis) • Receive and review service invoices and match associated official receipts and agreed rate for service elements • Follow complaints and report damage cases (if any) through ABB designated tool • Manage cost reductions where possible and report in ABB designated tool • Manage and support local contracts where needed for local activities not covered by Global Frame Agreements (GFAs) • Contribute and support in internal audits and manage needed remediations for related findings • Regular business review meetings with BU teams (weekly/monthly basis)

Qualifications for the role

• BSc. Degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other relevant majors)
• ≥ 2 years in similar Position
• Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic languages is a must.
• Fluency in both spoken & written French language is a plus.
• He /She must plan his work on daily / weekly / monthly basis, as required.
• Capture possible room for improvement and propose, design and implement enhancement initiatives and solutions.
