As a Business Development leader (PSS), your focus will be generating new business leads and increasing sales for our PSS business unit across APAC.
The Business Unit
PSS is a global business that delivers digitally connected solutions for workers that help customers shorten fulfillment times, improve operational efficiency and accuracy, increase worker productivity, lower cost-per-package-shipped, and alleviate bottlenecks in the supply chain operations. PSS mobility devices, printers, scanners, voice technology, and vision solutions supported by software and services, enhance worker productivity and allow organizations to collect and leverage critical data about their operations. Main verticals for PSS include transportation, logistics and warehousing, and retail. Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer. Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the VP of Strategic Accounts to develop and execute regional account strategies.
• Drive large strategic sales initiatives in alignment with the broader PSS strategy, focusing on the big refresh and strategic accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and nurture strategic C-level relationships with key customers in the region.
• Create and manage detailed account plans for large strategic customers in the region. - Engage in high-level technical and commercial discussions with C-suite contacts.
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and adaptability to effectively navigate regional norms and etiquette.
• Present regional account strategies to PSS and IA leadership as needed, ensuring alignment with broader PSS strategic account strategy.
• Collaborate with HGR leadership in the region within a highly matrixed organization. - Possess strong business and commercial acumen, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in large strategic sales.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new account acquisition for PSS. - Travel within the region is required, approximately 30-50% of the time.
• Maintain a client-facing focus, with internal reporting rigor and adherence to requirements.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to regional sales managers and account managers in PSS APACI.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in strategic sales, preferably in the APAC region.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with C-level contacts.
• Cultural awareness and adaptability to effectively navigate regional norms and etiquette.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
