Expat Sales Director, Projects (French/English Speaking)


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for project services, aligning with company objectives.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities and major contracts.

  • Lead negotiations and closing of high-value project deals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and decision‑makers.

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of project solutions.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.

  • Develop and manage the project sales pipeline, generating accurate forecasts and reports.

  • Oversee P&L, budgeting, and cost control for the project portfolio.

  • Mentor and coach the commercial team, fostering a performance‑driven culture.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.


Candidate Profile

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 15 years in sales or business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

    • Proven track record in project sales within oil & gas or heavy industry.

  • Skills & Qualifications:

    • Fluent in French & English, both written and spoken.

    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Excellent network within the Gabonese industrial and energy sectors.

    • Proficient in CRM and sales analytics tools.

  • Attributes:

    • Strategic thinker with result‑oriented mindset.

    • High resilience, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure.

    • Demonstrated leadership and team‑building capabilities.

    • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
