Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development: - Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within various industries including battery production, MMM (mining, minerals and metals), hydrogen/ammonia production, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Battery Energy Storage (BESS). Develop and refine business strategies to target new markets and customer segments.
- Business Development: - Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. Build relationships with local EPCs and Channel Partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to promote customer loyalty and satisfaction. Collaborate with verticals, marketing and sales teams to generate leads and convert opportunities into contracts.
- Sales Execution: Prepare detailed proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of clients. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while providing value to customers. Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives established by the management team.
- Collaboration and Team Leadership: - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and support, to deliver customer solutions efficiently. Provide feedback to product development teams regarding market demands and customer experiences to inform future product enhancements.
- Performance Monitoring: Track progress against business development goals and report regularly to management on performance metrics. Analyze sales performance data to refine business strategies and enhance sales approaches.
Must Have Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the process industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of process automation technologies and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Swedish.
