We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales executive with experience in freight forwarding and logistics, specifically in the Oil and Gas industry for a client in Houston.

Function description

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
• Develop and maint ain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics and supply chain requirements.
• Promote the company's freight forwarding services (air, ocean, road, and project cargo) with a value-driven approach.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pricing quotes tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure service excellence.
• Maintain CRM records and provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor activity within the oil and gas logistics space.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in freight forwarding/logistics sales, preferably with a focus on the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of international logistics, Incoterms, customs regulations, and project cargo handling.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred.
