Function description

Our client- an international offshore engineering and transport company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of commercial teams to join its international Sales and Business Development Team. This role is pivotal in driving the acquisition of offshore transportation and installation projects, with responsibilities spanning from early market analysis and promotion to tendering, negotiation, and contract execution.

As Lead of commercial teams- Subsea, you will lead efforts in a key market segment, ensuring successful project acquisition and client engagement. This is a varied and challenging role within a forward-thinking, international organization that values innovation, teamwork, and accountability.

  • Lead strategic partnerships by initiating collaborations, managing agency agreements, and ensuring the company is well-positioned for pre-qualification and tender opportunities.
  • Drive market intelligence efforts by monitoring industry trends, analyzing competitors, and sharing insights across internal teams to support informed decision-making.
  • Represent the company externally at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences, while also organizing internal and external workshops and presentations to enhance brand presence.
  • Strengthen client engagement by maintaining consistent communication with regional contacts and nurturing long-term relationships that support repeat business.
  • Support commercial planning by contributing to pricing strategies, updating partner development plans, and aligning proposals with market expectations.
  • Identify and evaluate new markets through data-driven analysis, including SWOT assessments and opportunity mapping, to guide business expansion.
  • Collaborate on proposal development by coordinating with cross-functional teams to craft compelling bids and strategies that increase win rates.


Requirements

  • At least 5 years of combined project and commercial experience within the offshore industry.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently as part of the role.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
