The Senior Account Executive supports our solar dealer network by ensuring dealers have the resources, tools, and guidance needed to succeed. This role requires exceptional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. As a senior-level team member, you will not only manage accounts but also assist in leading initiatives, supervising teams, and driving operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain assigned dealer accounts, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for dealers, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
- Develop a deep understanding of dealer needs, challenges, and goals to provide tailored support.
- Resolve dealer concerns and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
- Assist in developing sales training materials and product literature.
- Identify and act on projects that fall out of SLA timelines.
- Provide professional communication to dealers and sales reps on project processes and status.
- Support team supervision, leadership initiatives, and KPI targets.
- Oversee finance escalations and manage NTP and Pending Customer Action buckets.
- Provide leadership-level availability for escalations requiring executive approval.
- Drive process improvements, operational insights, and enforce adherence to SOPs.
- Provide training to team members and conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve project issues that hinder deal progression.
- Ensure accurate data entry, financial tracking, and record-keeping.
- Utilize CRM tools and sales systems to maintain efficient workflows.
Education Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of solar industry and project management experience
- Minimum 3+ years experience in project management
- Minimum 4 years of team leadership experience
- In-depth understanding of solar sales and the builder product sales process
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and financial management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and set the example for team members
- Ability to work in fast-paced office or hybrid environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer work
- Ability to participate in virtual or in-person dealer meetings as needed
- Must have reliable transportation if travel is required
