Job Summary:
As part of the Origination team, you will develop business relationships with potential clients in order to understand their energy needs and help them find the best solution to meet those needs by using BP's expertise and risk management capabilities. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and developing innovative solutions for existing customers. Your role requires collaboration with internal teams across the organization, including trading, origination, risk management, legal, and marketing.

Job Responsibilities:
• Understand customer requirements through consultative selling skills, and provide customized proposals to address specific needs
• Identify and analyze trends and sentiment within industries to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market changes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
• Provide thought leadership on industry trends and insights, and contribute to writing articles, blog posts, and other content to showcase expertise
• Conduct deal structuring and negotiation processes, ensuring compliance with trade discipline and regulations
• Manage partner relationships, coordinating activities between multiple parties to ensure successful outcomes
• Ensure internal alignment on strategy and approach for client accounts
• Use data analysis to support decision-making and track progress of initiatives
• Present ideas and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior management

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
• At least 7 years of experience in sales and business development roles within the oil and gas sector
• Strong understanding of commodity markets and trading fundamentals
• Excellent communication skills, including writing, presenting, and influencing others
• Proven ability to build long-term relationships with clients and partners
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in negotiating agreements and contracts
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software
• Knowledge of trading disciplines and compliance standards
• Fluency in English is required for this position
