Export Service Manager
The role is responsible for managing a team of the Team Leaders of Export Teams focusing on primary and secondary export and import activities, including order entry, availability check and allocation as well as delivery planning and scheduling with the warehouse, freight forwarders and preparation of the necessary export and billing documentation for the customers., The Service Manager is also the focal point for our 4PL and 3PL logistics partners and RFQs, working together with them in improvements and holding them accountable for providing the most effective solutions.

Export Service Manager

In this role You will:
- Lead and review operational performance for the team regularly against the defined objectives and plan corrective actions accordingly to ensure the organizations timely delivery of Supply Chain services in accordance with the Service Level Agreements; relevant processes and policies including leading and reviewing demand and planning related processes.
- Provide relevant support and collaborate with internal partners and interested parties as required to resolve critical issues and queries, manage the operational relationship with Lubricants Global Supply Chain and the Lubricants Europe and META PU
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key partners at all levels within the organization, customers and external service providers to ensure related issues are dealt with in a timely and effective manner. Manage key contractors and third party supplier relationships to deliver maximum value and impact for BP.
- Support the development and implementation of Customer Function and Supply Chain policies, procedures and practices in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and industry best-in-class practices and global process standardization.
- Ensure Global Process Standards are embedded and adhered to in day-to-day operations.
- Lead and/or support external/internal audits, identify and control risk and drive incident investigations.
- Ensure adherence and compliance with the Code of Conduct, BP Policies and ISO/ IATF and E&C standards across the organization
- Drive cross functional collaboration and identify, resolve and develop solutions for complex, raised and systemic operational problems to ensure consistent and high quality service at all times, contributing this way to improving the overall customer experience
- Support the development of a high performance culture within teams promoting continuous learning and focusing on meeting / exceeding customer needs / expectations.
- Identify training opportunities focused on building capability of the team
What You will need to be successful:
- 8-10 years post degree experience in Logistic/ Supply Chain and Customs Field focusing on Export activities
- Educated to Degree standard or equivalent.
- Min 5 years line manager experience
- Customs or Equivalent Certificate is essential
- Comprehensive understanding of international trade processes, freight forwarding, Customs, ADR and Excise goods
- Previous experience with the Lubricants SPU and relevant process understanding is an advantage.
