Partner Plus are delighted to have been retained by a leading Industrial Air Filtration Company who are looking to expand their existing sales team in the Midwest.

Position Summary Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead sales and business development efforts throughout the Midwest region. This key leadership role combines commercial strategy and technical expertise—approximately 70% focused on sales activities and 30% on technical support, training, and design collaboration.
You will play a critical role in supporting company growth, driving market expansion, and contributing to long-term strategic goals. This position offers a balanced mix of travel (60%) and remote collaboration (40%) with internal teams, allowing for meaningful client engagement and active participation in cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Market Development
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and managing distribution partners and key end-user accounts.
  • Drive business growth by developing the A&E and contractor network, positioning our client as a preferred vendor.
  • Uncover and evaluate emerging markets to align growth strategies with company objectives.
Distributor & Customer Enablement
  • Support distributor success with training, joint sales efforts, and collaborative business planning.
  • Deliver product training and technical support to ensure partner confidence and customer satisfaction.
Strategic & Financial Planning
  • Collaborate with product managers and senior leadership to assess market needs, identify opportunities, and shape product strategy.
  • Work with the General Manager/President and Controller to establish and maintain strong budgetary controls across all sales-related initiatives.
  • Develop accurate annual and rolling sales forecasts to support demand planning and improve operational responsiveness.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitive trends to guide sales strategy and product development.
  • Use data-driven insights to influence decision-making and identify new revenue streams.
CRM & Campaign Management
  • Utilize the Cloud for Customer (C4C) CRM system to manage leads and accounts, generate quotes, and execute focused sales campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and pipeline activity to drive conversion and improve forecasting accuracy.
Marketing Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing to create high-impact campaigns, trade show initiatives, and promotional efforts that generate qualified leads.
  • Represent Plymovent at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and identify new business opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 5 years in B2B sales, preferably within the ventilation or HVAC industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to develop and execute tactical sales plans with measurable results.
  • Financial & Strategic Insight: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and aligning sales strategies with business goals.
  • CRM Proficiency: Skilled in using CRM tools (preferably C4C) for managing pipelines, campaigns, and customer relationships.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
    • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
    • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
    • Effective working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
