Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and validate transactions related to Crude Trading and Supply in SAP S4, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Generate and analyze inventory build/draw reports in SAP S4 throughout the month.
- Collaborate with offshore service providers, schedulers, and traders to ensure accurate trade and position records.
- Review and resolve complex Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW) requests escalated by Crude and Volumetric Accounting teams.
- Serve as a backup DEW reviewer during scheduler absences.
- Partner with Trade Support to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies in SAP and implement resolutions.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and summaries for management review.
- Identify and communicate recurring issues affecting inventory accuracy and support solution development.
- Recommend process improvements in scheduling operations.
- Provide direct support during high-intensity periods, such as month-end close.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5–10 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience generating financial and inventory reports in SAP
- 2 years of scheduling experience in the oil and gas industry
