At Vestas, the Global Customer Project Execution (CPX) team plays a pivotal role in delivering wind energy projects across the globe. CPX is responsible for the full lifecycle of customer projects from contract signing to handover to service ensuring quality, safety, and timely execution.
Global CPX Planning is a strategic function within this setup, owning and governing the global planning framework across Vestas' CPX organisation. The team ensures that planning processes, tools, and methodologies are standardized, scalable, and effectively implemented across regions and functions.
This role is ideal for a business development professional with an understanding of project planning, who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment and is focused on improving operational maturity and competitiveness across the value chain.

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the global planning framework for CPX, ensuring it supports strategic growth and operational excellence
- Oversee governance efforts to maintain consistency and quality in planning processes and tools across regions
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including regional CPX teams, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and other corporate functions to align planning efforts across the project and portfolio levels
- Support business decision-making through data-driven insights, scenario planning, and KPI visualisation
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the global CPX development roadmap
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across the organisation to improve execution capabilities
Qualifications
- Approximately 10 years of experience (flexible based on skills and fit)
- Background in business development, strategy, or operations
- Extensive experience in project planning and management
- Familiarity with planning and reporting tools (Primavera P6, SAP BI, Power BI, Stage Gate)
- Fluent in English
