The role will be focused on the development of sales in the PBU (Poland, Baltic States and Ukraine) Region with the specific focus on Poland of various PLC, ESD, SCADA, DCS, SIS modernization to Emerson solutions. Targeted industries are as follows but not limited to Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Life science, Water & Wastewater. Developing profitable new businesses at new customers and increasing customer penetration in existing installed base, actively search and pursue competitive displacement. Ensure bookings and margin objectives are achieved for the territory. Appropriately support sales and project meetings with customers as necessary. Be self-motivated/driven with a minimum need for supervision.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Cooperate with the Account Managers of the Emerson's installed base to develop modernization projects, pursue/lead them until contract signature and a handover to Engineering team.
- Develop new customer accounts without the installed Emerson's Control Systems to introduce DeltaV modernization tools, to modernize competitive Control Systems.
- Keeping clean and regularly updating data in CRM and other systems as required
- Maintain, develop and extend relationships with existing Partners, engineering companies, designing offices to educate and support modernization pursuits.
- Responsible for achieving the agreed bookings target for the assigned region
- Managing complex sales cycles leads to closure, drive offer establishment and perform contract negotiations
- Has extremely good insight in activities / capabilities / performance of local competition
- Understand customer business drivers and demonstrate linkage between products/solutions to customer's needs (pains) and business objectives.
- Prepare a sales account plan for assigned sales territory and execute it, provide timely report on customer requirements, booking status, competition and market trends.
- Identify market/customers' needs for Emerson applications. Plan, request and review preparation of customer technical proposals and take responsibility for preparation of commercial proposals.
- Recommend price models and framework that fits the future business outlook and enable Emerson to capture maximum orders and profitability from the accounts and facilitate the formation of agreements by discerning the win/win for both parties.
- Participate in customer development activities like trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of new products, solutions and services to specific accounts.
Who you are:

For this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in sales or technical roles supporting sales in the area a of the Control Systems based on PLC, ESD, SCADA, DCS, SIS.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in direct sales roles, documented experience in sales of Control Systems solutions
- Bachelor or University Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (automation, electrical, control process or similar discipline) or equivalent
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluent in Polish and English Languages - written, spoken
- Advanced level of sales and negotiation skills
- Very good interpersonal skills and proven capability of deep understanding of sales process
- Good computer skills, Industrial communication protocols,
- Full clean driving license, category B
- Mature personality which is very self-driven and self-motivated
- Travelling to customer site within country and as well abroad travelling (50% of time)
