This Position reports to:

You will work as a Sales Representative and be part of the Smart Energy and Smart Buildings division located in Montreal, Quebec. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager for the Montreal Island territory, selling our low-voltage electrical distribution solutions (1000V and below) to a clientele primarily composed of contractors.
This position consists of 80% prospecting and 20% existing clients. You will have the choice of using an ABB fleet vehicle or your own vehicle with reimbursement for associated expenses.

Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the sale of the Smart Energy division's product range to contractor clients, focusing on volume and profitability objectives. Our product range includes molded case circuit breakers, air circuit breakers, residential panels, safety switches, lighting panels, power panels, metering centers, and dry-type transformers.
- Focus on construction and infrastructure projects, residential and commercial contractors, integration partners, our distribution network, end users, and real estate developers.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Create added value for the client and ABB and ensure successful transactions, contracts, and proposals through effective value-based selling techniques.
- Ensure the effectiveness of marketing activities and value propositions to clients, take initiatives to lead marketing campaigns and promotional activities when required, with support from the product marketing team.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally within large, innovative, and fast-paced organizations involving electrical distribution products.
- Fluency in spoken and written French is mandatory, and functional English is required. French is essential. English is also required to regularly communicate with clients outside Quebec.
- Strong problem-solving and learning skills, and the ability to manage priorities and issues in a constantly evolving environment.
- Results-oriented and able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and excellent communication skills.
