Our client, a leading player in subsea cable logistics, is seeking an Account & Contract Manager to manage key customer relationships and oversee contract execution. The role is based near Alkmaar and requires fluency in Dutch and English, with regular travel across Europe and frequent trips to Asia (Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, etc.). Visa sponsorship for the Netherlands is not available.

Function description

As Technical Sales Manager , you will join a dynamic commercial team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding strategic client partnerships. After an initial onboarding period, you will:

• Analyze quotation requests using technical drawings, specifications, and verbal input.
• Source and evaluate offers from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed quotations and technical proposals.
• Monitor contract execution, including site visits and collaboration with project teams.
• Represent the company in client meetings across Europe and Asia.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and provide accurate reporting.
• This position offers a mix of office-based work (minimum two days per week onsite) and flexibility for remote work. The role involves frequent international travel, particularly to Asia, where you will work closely with colleagues in Korea and Taiwan.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or commercial discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred; motivated juniors will be considered.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong Excel proficiency and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Languages & Location

• Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory).
• Must reside near Alkmaar for regular office presence (2x per week).

Other

• Willingness to travel extensively within Europe and frequently to Asia (Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, etc.).
• Must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
