PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, distributors, and internal sales teams regarding production choke products, parts, and service inquiries.
- Generate accurate quotations and technical proposals in accordance with customer specifications, industry standards, and NOV guidelines.
- Work closely with engineering, applications, manufacturing, and field service teams to provide timely information and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Support the outside sales team by managing leads, tracking opportunities, and following up on quotes to drive sales conversions.
- Maintain and update customer and sales data.
- Coordinate order processing, pricing, delivery schedules, and post-sale support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide product knowledge and technical assistance to customers.
- Identify potential opportunities to expand NOV's footprint with existing customers and in emerging markets with additional product lines
- Must have the ability drive forklifts to transport stored items from warehouse to production areas or to pick up items for daily shipments both safely and in a timely manner.
- Must have physical ability to life or move up to 50lbs
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
- Minimum 2 years of inside sales, customer service, or technical support experience in industrial equipment-preferably Oil & Gas related Equipment.
- Experienced in inventory control, shipping/receiving, forklift operation, pulling order and sales orders, shipping & receiving.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Oracle or other ERP systems & software is a huge plus.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, and specifications is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- General knowledge of oil & gas & petrochemical industry a plus
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively in a team-oriented culture.
