As a Sales Specialist, you will compose and deploy account strategies, driving maximum customer profitability while ensuring alignment with Castrol's strategic commercial goals.
You will be responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening partner relationships throughout the indirect sales channel in the Central NSW region. We're looking for this role to be based in one of the following areas or as close to as possible: Orange, Bathurst, and Dubbo

Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse customer portfolio across multiple industries throughout Regional NSW, ensuring each account receives tailored support to maximise performance, loyalty, and sustainable growth.
- Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory, converting leads into measurable sales results and expanding Castrol's market presence.
- Partnership Building: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key customers and resellers, fostering partnerships that support shared objectives and drive mutual success.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Uphold Castrol's safety, credit, and contractual compliance standards across all customer interactions and commercial activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners - including Marketing, Logistics, and Supply Chain in order to align strategies, improve service delivery, and enhance customer outcomes.
- Market Insight & Representation: Stay up to date on customer needs, competitor activity, and industry trends to effectively represent the customer voice within the organisation. Ensure that Castrol's value propositions and commercial offers are aligned to market demand and future opportunities.
- Commercial Strategy & Execution: Apply strong commercial acumen to identify areas for profitable growth. Develop and implement comprehensive account plans and sales strategies to meet performance targets and increase market share within the Indirect channel.
Qualifications & experience
- Demonstrated success in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development, with a proven ability to build, nurture, and expand customer relationships while driving profitable growth.
- Consistent track record of high performance, regularly achieving and exceeding sales and operational targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret market dynamics, anticipate customer needs, and leverage emerging sector trends.
- Proficient in customer segmentation and skilled at tailoring sales strategies to maximise engagement and conversion.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, facilitating effective collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
- Skilled in managing sales territories and diverse portfolios to optimise performance, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
