JOB DESCRIPTION

The position Aftermarket Business Development Manager shall promote and sell Aftermarket products and services on behalf of the After Market Business units for all M&C centers of excellence.

Additional responsibility is to monitor the market, establish, and actively create relationships, maintain relationships, and identify potential growth opportunities. Work closely with the Global Business Development team and AM Business units to meet and exceed the strategic and financial plans.

Duties

  1. Proactively support and follow up activities towards customers.
  2. Identify, list and report about vessels and customers in the region.
  3. Frequently report on pre-defined KPI`s.
  4. Report potential capital sale and requests for quote to M&C Capital sales team and work closely with them towards the customer to support a potential sale.
  5. Be in front of the customer to be the one to go to. Talk with them, listen to them, identify new ideas and / or needs to provide service above all.
  6. Sales and marketing of AM M&C products and services such as actions defined in the plan as well as "bread & butter" items and commodities.


Request for quote will be prepared and made by AM M&C center of excellence to the Business Development Manager that present the quote and follows up towards the customer. Received PO will be forwarded to the quote's origin for execution.

  1. Working closely with the Regional AM M&C organization and AM M&C Centers of Excellence representative to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  2. Report regional customers key challenges, forecast of planned and potential activities,
  3. Customer care, address day to day issues, understand customer assets, plans & objectives and develop business opportunities.
  4. Participate in - and/ or provide input to the various P&Ls for AFP, MYP or whenever else relevant.


The successful Candidate skill sets

  1. Preferably a Business or Engineering Degree at BSc level;
  2. Basic technical skills.
  3. Minimum 3-5 years' experience on NOV products or similar technology.
  4. Diplomatic personality.
  5. Good interpersonal skills.
  6. Proactive approach to new people and situations.
  7. Goal oriented / Self-driven to achieve results.
  8. Good team player.
  9. Honest and trustworthy in both manner and approach.
  10. English speaking / writing.


Ability to travel 20%, domestically and internationally
