Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also

showcase your ability by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite.

The role You will be working as Sales Specialist for Sales Function and you will support for the Electrification Smart Buildings Business, to be based at Hubli, Karnataka, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Channel Management: Establish and manage primary & secondary distributor networks; regularly engage distributors, dealers, and retailers; facilitate growth and manage receivables.
  • Sales Performance: Reach monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets; manage primary, secondary, and tertiary sales within the assigned territory.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Plan and execute promotional activities such as retailer meets, product seminars, roadshows, exhibitions, and in-shop branding.
  • Trade Schemes: Design and implement product promotion schemes for distributors, retailers, and customers, both directly and through distribution channels.
  • Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with team leaders and stakeholders; prepare and submit daily and monthly sales and activity reports.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Experience in Modular Switches, MCB, RCCB, and Distribution Boards (DB).
  • Educational Qualification: Any graduate; MBA.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Retail Sales and Distribution.
  • Distributor Management: Comprehensive knowledge and direct experience in managing distributor networks.
  • Product Launches: Capable of planning and executing new product launches effectively.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Ability to conduct promotional marketing activities, branding initiatives, and design product schemes.
  • Planning & Communication: Effective day-to-day activity planning and reporting with proficient communication and relationship management skills.
