Your role and responsibilities

In this role, implements global processes, best practices, and solutions for the designated lead business across the Inquiry To Order (ITO) process to meet and exceed external and internal customers' expectations. Accountable for end of line metrics.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Buildings business to be based at Peenya, Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Sales Support Implementation - Oversee local execution of global sales support strategies, ensuring efficiency across inquiry-to-order (ITO) processes and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence - Monitor KPIs such as forecasting accuracy, quotation quality, and clean orders while optimizing processes using Lean Six Sigma methods.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration - Manage and develop a team of experts to provide technical and commercial support, coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations for seamless execution.
  • Compliance & Governance - Ensure adherence to ABB's code of conduct, safety, and integrity standards, while maintaining compliance with company policies, regulations, and quality procedures.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Educational Qualification - Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Communication Skills - Fluency in English (written and spoken) with proficient interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Portfolio & Business Strategy - Skilled in portfolio management, business strategy, and executing go-to-market initiatives for growth and profitability.
  • Market & Customer Focus - Solid understanding of market intelligence, customer experience success, and competitive positioning.
  • Financial & Regulatory Acumen - Proficient in pricing excellence, budgeting, performance management, and ensuring regulatory and legal compliance.
  • Sales & Business Development - Experienced in account management, business development, sales enablement, and channel sales strategies.
  • Risk & Contract Management - Adept at managing contracts, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
