This Position reports to:
Head of Sales IN PAEN
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain an effective sales strategy for Automation & Electrical Products within the defined regional market scope, driving ABB's market penetration and achieving growth ambitions. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and execute the sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems, and services-ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and superior customer satisfaction. You will also demonstrate leadership by guiding, coaching, and developing the sales organization to achieve high performance.
The work model for the role is: #LI - Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Automation in Energy industry. Main stakeholders are Internal and External Stakeholders.

- Anticipating and identifying performance shortfalls and taking timely corrective actions.
- Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, defining implementation plans, and allocating required resources.
- Planning and executing customer surveys and acting on the results to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.

Qualifications for the role
- Highly skilled in front‑end sales, opportunity management, solution selling, and working within the Automation & Electrical products market.
- 12+ years of demonstrated capability in sales, business development, or key account management in industrial automation, LV/MV electrical products, or related technologies.
- Advanced skills in using CRM systems, sales forecasting tools, and experience working with industrial customers, EPCs, OEMs, utilities, system integrators, or channel partners.
- Adept at understanding electrical/automation product portfolios, such as PLCs, drives, control systems, MCCs, switchgear, and protection devices.
- Proficient soft skills-customer engagement, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
- Comfortable communicating in English in reading & Writing.
