Job Summary
The Senior Sales Manager has accountability to the orders growth of Instrumented Control and Safety System (ICSS) across the assigned industry account and digitalization solutions across western region. Driving strategic plans in collaboration with the regional project pursuit team, strategic account team and global organization. This will require creative thinking, driving for results, flexibility, and an understanding of the cultural and business norms in the region.
The Western Region (Saudi Arabia and Bahrain) is a key growth and strategic region for Control Systems and Software (CSS) business. This is an important role focused on incremental growth plans, development of account plans, and expanding Emerson ICSS & software footprint in the region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in consolidation of Emerson leadership in the automation market as well as leading market strategy for deployment of Enterprise Operating Platform (EOP) solutions. We are looking for an experienced professional to work with a diverse and proficient group of people. The role has high visibility within Emerson and has the potential to achieve outstanding results.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead sales & business development initiatives across assigned industry account
- Meet or exceed territory financial objectives required in support of the CSS western region business plan
- Responsible for driving Emerson's Boundless Automation vision and lead customer engagements on autonomous operations, data management, enterprise level operations and integration with corporate business systems
- Closely work with key customer accounts on digital transformation initiatives and coordinate with technology and product teams to develop fit for purpose solution offering
- Develop and implement sales strategies for projects. Maintain an accurate project pursuit list and provide monthly reports and forecasts
- Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence and country marketing plans
- Work closely with the proposal generation group to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, competitively priced and are submitted on time.
- Improve customer satisfaction by finding solutions to their needs
- Take a proactive role in working with the Emerson Global Project Pursuit Team and Key Account Managers to identify, qualify and pursue projects to achieve order conversion and increase the potential for process systems and solutions products and services.
- Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Emerson Process Management.
- Profile accounts and establish a clear understanding of business plans and technology control requirements.
- Understand customer business drivers and ensure inclusion within Emerson proposals.
- Actively drive collaboration with WA Sales and Businesses
- Drive and achieve Safety Targets and Own Safety Culture
Who You Are:
- You are an experienced sales and account management professional
- You are conversant with software technologies/solutions selling methodologies
- You are highly motivated to drive business growth
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- 10-12 Years direct sales and sales management experience
Preferred qualifications that set you apart
- Prior experience of managing large oil & gas or petrochemical/chemical account
