Role: Marketing Projects Manager (CTEC)

Location: Bedford College - Cauldwell Street Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £41,086 and £47,971 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People's pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week - 52 weeks per year

Contract Type: Fixed Term - Full Time - Fixed until 31 March 2027

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Marketing Projects Manager (CTEC) to join our Marketing and Digital department at The Bedford College Group.

As a Marketing Projects Manager, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
  • End-to-End Marketing Project Leadership- Lead the full delivery of national and regional CTEC marketing projects, ensuring clear governance, accurate briefs, strong project planning and on-time, on-budget execution.
  • Stakeholder Management & Agency-Style Support- Act as the central marketing lead for internal/external stakeholders, translating needs into actionable plans, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring consistent communication, alignment and high-quality service.
  • Multi-Channel Content & Campaign Delivery- Plan, coordinate and optimise digital and offline activity (website, LinkedIn, email, paid/organic media, collateral, PR-supporting work), producing engaging content and monitoring performance to drive awareness and conversion.
  • Content, Web & Event Ownership - Own CTEC content and channel plans, lead website updates and LinkedIn activity, manage case studies and campaign assets, and plan/deliver high-quality national and regional events with measurable impact.
  • Reporting, Compliance & Continuous Improvement - Manage budgets, evaluate performance, report impact and ROI, uphold safeguarding/EDI/health & safety requirements and continuously refine processes, workflows and project methodologies.

About you:
  • Qualifications & Professional Development - Degree in marketing/business (or equivalent professional qualification) with ongoing CPD and strong IT/digital skills, including CMS familiarity and willingness to continually update knowledge.
  • Marketing Campaigns & Digital Expertise - At least three years' experience delivering impactful, multi-channel campaigns, with strong skills in email marketing, paid social, CRM-supported journeys and performance tracking/optimisation.
  • Content, Copywriting & Web Management - Proven ability to write engaging on/offline copy, manage website content (accuracy, tone, accessibility, conversion), build content calendars and deliver high-quality LinkedIn (organic and paid) activity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement, Events & Project Management - Experienced in building productive relationships, coordinating cross-regional campaigns, managing budgets, planning events (logistics, comms, evaluation) and delivering projects end-to-end.
  • Professional Skills, Values & Flexibility - Strong communicator with excellent judgement, accuracy, organisation and initiative, aligned to College values, able to work flexibly (including occasional out-of-hours) and travel independently to campuses and events.
