We are seeking a Sales Manager who will be responsible for Outside Sales, handling Singapore customers under the Flow Controls Business Unit. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies that grow our valve business, deepen customer relationships, and strengthen Emerson's market presence in Singapore

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Works independently to assigned EPC / OEM accounts on project pursuit to grow the valve business in Singapore.
  • Provide sales forecast and achieve/exceed orders targets set for the Business Unit's business in Singapore
  • Tap on prospects, analyze requirements to develop winning strategies and negotiate to win the business profitably
  • Maintain excellent account management skills and build strong relationships with external customers and internal service team
  • Co-ordinate with sales support team to generate quotes for order processing, project team, documentation including post-sales service with the Service team and various departments within the organization
  • Work closely with Business Unit Marketing team to plan and implement promotional seminars. In addition, to provide feedback and market input to Industry and Marketing Team
  • Collaborate with sales from other business units in multi-division project pursuits

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skills.
  • Good in analytical and questioning skills coupled with ability to develop and implement strategies.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation) with 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the process control industry
  • Knowledge and sales experience in control valves and / or regulating valves will be advantageous
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skills
  • Good in analytical and questioning skills coupled with ability to develop and implement strategies
