Overview
We are seeking a Business Support Lead to provide operational and administrative support to the Project Management Team (PMT), with a focus on internal processes, lessons learned, and risk management. The role ensures alignment with project deliverables, facilitates implementation of lessons learned, and supports the PMT in achieving operational excellence.
The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to maintain compliance with project management standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support to the PMT, particularly the Business Manager, in relation to internal processes and procedures

Coordinate lessons learned and risk management processes and facilitate their implementation

Advise PMT on the Project Management System (PMS) processes and ensure timely production of Gate deliverables

Support the formulation of project roadmaps in line with the project’s DRAM

Maintain a clear and up-to-date risk register and communicate significant risks, issues, and vulnerabilities through ERM processes

Review contractor risk management and lessons learned processes, ensuring compliance with company policies

Evaluate and advise on project performance in risk management and lessons learned, ensuring proper procedures are followed

Coordinate contractor lessons learned processes and ensure key lessons are captured for each discipline

Maintain compliance with PMS by coordinating Gate Reviews, tracking findings, and ensuring timely closure
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, sciences, engineering, or supply chain management
-
Minimum 8 years’ experience in administration support, including at least 4 years in the oil & gas industry and 1 year in a supervisory or acting role

Knowledge of project business functions such as Gate Reviews, Lessons Learned, Risk Management, and support services

Experience working within multi-disciplinary project teams in complex, high-value environments

Strong coordination and multitasking skills under pressure

Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to work across disciplines and cultures

Proficiency in MS Office and relevant applications
