Reporting to the leadership team, you will guide defence solutions through structured, compliant, and reliable public procurement processes.
As a Business Development Manager, your missions will include:
- Identifying relevant public tenders (EU-wide, national, federal, and state level),
- Analyzing tender documentation and managing the compliant preparation of proposals,
- Coordinating internal contributions from engineering, operations, and management,
- Structuring proposal content and managing consortium or partner collaborations when required,
- Ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations (GWB, VgV, UVgO) and formal tender requirements,
- Acting as the main point of contact for contracting authorities, procurement offices, and partners,
- Monitoring procurement programs, budget cycles, and future demand to align business strategy.
Necessary skills:
- You must have experience in Business Development within startup environments,
- You have proven experience with public tenders, procurement processes, or proposal management,
- Experience in defence, security, or public-sector environments is strongly appreciated,
- You have a solid understanding of public procurement regulations and formal requirements,
- You are structured, reliable, and able to manage complex processes independently,
- Fluent German and English are imperative.
- Eligibility for German security clearance is required (German or EU/NATO citizenship).
Salary: 60-85k euros gross annual.
