Job Summary
The Drilling Product Sales Engineer is responsible for growing market share and revenue with assigned accounts while establishing and building strong relationships with customers. This role promotes the sale of BL products and services by leveraging field expertise to match customer needs with applicable solutions. The Sales Engineer will acquire technical knowledge through the fix step program and apply it within the sales organization to optimize opportunities and deliver value to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers through field visits, following up on sold jobs, and consulting with clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as the customer interface with operations.
  • Capture customer business line activity and all local and international competitor activity in GAC.
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline and account information in C4C, including customer profiling, visit reports, and customer drivers.
  • Coordinate scheduling with the service delivery organization as required.
  • Provide basic product/service recommendations and present them to clients.
  • Assist in troubleshooting product/service performance in the field and resolving complaints.
  • Ensure customer issues arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed.
  • Stay informed about sales programs, new product introductions, and developments within the assigned territory.
  • Attend training courses to maintain knowledge of key technologies and competitor practices.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive intelligence and communicate findings to management.
  • Identify and communicate potential multi-BL and multi-division opportunities.
  • Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
  • Support multiple Business Line operations collaboratively to optimize performance.
  • Understand and communicate the value of technology to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of drilling operations, sales processes, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across multiple business lines.
  • Motivation to learn, grow, and succeed in sales engineering and technical operations.
