You will develop and implement strategic account plans, cultivate strong customer relationships, and lead a sales effort that delivers outstanding value to our industrial clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability within the Mining, CVO, and Industrial sectors.
- Conduct detailed customer and competitor understanding, identifying market trends, opportunities, and threats to advise sales strategies.
- Manage customer profitability by optimizing product mix, pricing, and service levels.
- Apply customer segmentation to tailor sales approaches and product offerings to specific client needs.
- Ensure internal alignment with marketing, technical, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by effectively navigating and leading through ambiguity, adapting strategies to changing market conditions.
- Actively listen to customer needs and market feedback to identify new product development opportunities and service enhancements.
- Master the art of negotiating value, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that enhance BPSA Lubes' market position.
- Execute thorough negotiation planning and preparation for all significant sales opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partner relationship management with key collaborators, distributors, and industry associations.
- Lead proposition development efforts, crafting compelling value propositions that resonate with target customers.
- Drive prospecting and pipeline management activities to ensure a healthy and consistent sales funnel.
- Accurately perform sales forecasting and demand planning to support production and inventory management.
- Develop deep sector expertise across Mining, CVO, and Industrial markets, becoming a trusted advisor to clients.
Job Qualifications
- Shown experience in sales management within the Mining, CVO, or Industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in account strategy and business development.
- Strong understanding of customer and competitor dynamics, and market trends.
- Proficiency in customer profitability analysis and customer segmentation.
- Ability to foster internal alignment and collaborate cross-functionally.
- A proven track record of leading through ambiguity and adapting to change.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in negotiation planning and preparation.
- Strong capabilities in partner relationship management.
- Skilled in proposition development and value articulation.
- Proficient in prospecting and pipeline management.
- Experience with sales forecasting and demand planning.
- Deep understanding of the relevant industrial sectors.
