Job Summary:
Responsible for Top Line (Revenue) growth and expansion of the progressive cavity pump and mixing business in KSA. The overall goal for the Business Development Manager is to deliver targeted, profitable, and sustainable growth for the business, with line accountability for sales. This must be achieved through driving the development and execution of the BU commercial strategy. This role will lead the direction and strategy of the product lines and assist the external sales representatives to achieve long-term sales strategies with this range of products.

Job Summary:
Responsible for Top Line (Revenue) growth and expansion of the progressive cavity pump and mixing business in KSA. The overall goal for the Business Development Manager is to deliver targeted, profitable, and sustainable growth for the business, with line accountability for sales. This must be achieved through driving the development and execution of the BU commercial strategy. This role will lead the direction and strategy of the product lines and assist the external sales representatives to achieve long-term sales strategies with this range of products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify market potential, establish pricing and market strategies, estimate potential sales, introduce market, distribution/channel issues and manage mature product through phase-out
- Define promotional activities, publicizing the product through the press, sales force and alternate distribution channels
- Provide expertise in particular product area and develop strategies and applicable portions of the company business plan
- Plan, organize, and coordinate assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and optimum allocation of resources
- Manage resources to execute assigned programs
- Develop market and growth opportunities for Product Line extensions. Offer insights and planning for organic and external (acquisition) opportunities that supply a foundation for same.
- Conduct opportunity and pre-contract meetings with customers and participate in negotiating with key customers regarding contract terms and conditions.
- Coordinate details of strategy within the organization with a wide range of functions and individuals
- Manage potential changes in scope of contract and advise management and customer on potential impact changes
- Coordinate product introduction and market exploitation with marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment.
- Assist with preparation of long-term sales strategies and growth.
KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven revenue and market growth experience
- Strong knowledge of customer requirements and market conditions
- Understanding of Engineering and Industry definitions
- Experience and demonstrated results from driving and managing growth
- Strong change management leader skills
- Proven ability to intelligently operate and navigate in a multinational matrixed corporation
- Proven ability to grasp, analyze, and initiate actions based on strong financial insights
- Experience with driving change in complex international structures
- Proven ability to deal with stakeholder management on senior management levels
- Demonstrated results from independently driving and implementing transformation initiatives
- Strategic mindset and result-oriented
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with internal and external partners
Minimum qualifications (e.g. experience, education, skills):
- A degree in Engineering or Business is required
- 4 - 7 years in Business Development / Technical Sales (Oil & Gas / Industrial Equipment
- An analytical, independent and methodical people leader
- A resilient and persuasive change agent with high integrity
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Dynamic, energetic and proactive with an open, authentic and to the point personality
- People-oriented individual, in possess of good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels
- The highest standards in terms of ambition, performance and ethics
- A person with a holistic and positive attitude that embodies the desire to manage, develop and work in an ambitious organization
Desired qualifications (e.g. experience, education, skills):
- 7-10+ years in Business Development / Technical Sales (Oil & Gas / Industrial Equipment preferred)
- Experience in pump systems, rotating equipment, or industrial solutions
- Strong negotiation and contract management experience
- Experience working in multinational matrix organizations
- Experience managing key accounts in KSA
