Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Primary Customer Segments & Sales Focus:
    Engage with diverse customer segments across multiple industries including data centers, semiconductor facilities, hospitals, food & beverage manufacturers, trading companies, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Approach all customer types to expand market presence and build strategic partnerships.
  • You will be mainly offering AVC(Aactive voltage conditioner) designed specifically to solve voltage disturbance problems.Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.


Qualifications for the role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B market with new business development
  • Proactive self-starter with strong drive for customer acquisition
  • Hunter-type sales mentality with proven track record
  • Experience with cold calling and door-to-door sales approaches
  • Self-motivated individual who takes initiative in sales activities and drives results
  • Proficiency in eliciting and uncovering customer needs, combined with the ability to communicate and share these insights internally with the organization.
  • Technical college diploma or above (liberal arts, science, or engineering backgrounds all welcome)
  • language requirement:【Japanese】N1 level【English】Reading and writing proficiency
