Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will involve leading end‑to‑end sales activities, develop key customer relationships, and expand ABB E‑mobility's footprint among Corporates, Charge Point Operators (CPOs), Fleet Operators, Hospitality chains, Real Estate developers, and other strategic segments.

You will be responsible for consultative solution selling, generating new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and meeting revenue and margin targets for the region.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite.

This role is contributing to the ABB India, E-Mobility - DC Fast Charging Portfolio. Electrification Business in Bangalore Region, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Increase sales of ABB E-mobility DC fast charging solutions (24-400 kW) across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and adjoining regions, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities across key segments such as corporates, CPOs, hospitality, malls, IT parks, logistics, and infrastructure developers.
  • Coordinate customer engagement through meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and manage techno-commercial discussions including RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders, channel partners, EPCs, and consultants while developing a robust and accurate sales pipeline.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities, and collaborate with internal teams (technical, service, tendering, and supply chain) to ensure effective execution and market growth.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with a solid technical foundation.
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales of electrical/electronic equipment or power solutions such as EV chargers, UPS, switchgear, solar, or power electronics.
  • Solid understanding of EV charging technologies, including DC fast chargers and relevant standards like CCS2, CHAdeMO, OCPP, and Bharat standards.
  • Experience selling solutions to enterprise and B2B customers.
  • Experience in managing large accounts, key stakeholders, and handling complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close high-value deals.
  • Clear communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
