Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.

Location: Sant Quirze del Valles.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
  • Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
  • Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
  • Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.

Qualifications for the Role
  • The ideal candidate should have a degree or training in engineering or a related technical field.
  • A high level of proficiency in English, at least B2-C1 level, is required.
  • We are looking for a person with initiative, proactivity, a desire to learn and contribute, and someone who is eager to continue evolving.
  • Strong social and communication skills are essential.
  • The candidate should enjoy both the technical aspects of the product and the more social, relationship-building side of the role. Include required languages, licenses, or visa info where applicable.
