We're Hiring: Senior Account Manager / Business Development Manager (Oil & Gas)
NOV ReedHycalog is seeking a commercially driven and technically strong Senior Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our team in Algeria, driving growth across key Oil & Gas accounts.
If you bring deep expertise in drilling technologies and a proven track record of building strong client relationships and delivering revenue growth, this could be your next career move.
What You'll Do
- Develop and grow strategic relationships with major Oil & Gas operators and drilling contractors
- Promote NOV's portfolio, with a focus on Drill Bits, Borehole Enlargement & Coring (BBC)
- Lead customer presentations and deliver Service Quality Reviews
- Identify and drive new business opportunities in competitive markets
- Provide technical and commercial support during key operations, including high-visibility runs and trials
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing insights
- Manage customer orders, delivery follow-ups, and account performance (including DSO)
- Contribute to forecasting, reporting, and achieving sales targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and customer outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years' experience in the oilfield, with strong exposure to drilling operations and sales
- Proven success in promoting drill bits and drilling-related tools
- Strong technical foundation in:
- Drill bit design
- Coring & borehole enlargement tools
- Drilling applications & BHA components
- Solid commercial acumen with a track record of winning and growing accounts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and proactive mindset
Technical Expertise
Familiarity with:
- Bit hydraulics, bit economics, and performance optimization
- Downhole motors and drilling systems
- Industry tools such as Bit Browser, Insight, and motor handbooks
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Geology
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel domestically
